Facebook app for iPhone and iPod touch has been updated to v3.2.2 which includes photo uploading bug fixes as well as adds the ability to your account and privacy settings directly from within the Facebook app instead of having to leave the app and logging on via the web browser to do so.
While these new settings are available in the recent update, the implementation of the account and privacy settings leave a lot to be desired. For instance, when we tap the Account button, it brings up a menu which shows you account and privacy settings along as well as the logout option. However, when you choose either of the privacy or account settings options, it takes you to the Facebook website via the app’s built-in browser instead of native integration within the app itself. Well, at least now its accessible from within the app.
Still there are no changes or clues in the app to suggest the upcoming Facebook email integration. Of course, we’ll keep you posted once they are made public.
What’s New in Version 3.3.2
– Access account settings, privacy settings and Help Center
– Fixed a bug that prevented users from uploading photos to specific albums
