The next-generation MacBook Air coming in 2022, will feature a notch design. The claim is from the same Chinese leaker @ty98 who said that the new M1X MacBook Pro models (2021) will ship with a notch without FaceID. The Chinese leaker is the only source saying Apple is now expanding the iPhone’s notch design to its MacBook lineup, allegedly.
Apple is going to host its second Fall event in a few hours and it is expected that the company will unveil 14-inch and 16-inch M1X MacBook Pro models, along with M1X Mac min and AirPods 3.
Apple might be planning to introduce FaceID in the upcoming MacBook Air
As per the leak, both models of the new MacBook Pro lineup will feature a notch and the same design will be pushed to the upcoming MacBook Air in 2022. The leaker wrote on V2EX, an online community of designers and developers.
