Retaining its fanless design, the new 15-inch MacBook Air is said to be the world’s thinnest 15-inch laptop. Its 11.5mm thinness and 3.3 weight make it 40% thinner and 0.5 pounds lighter than a comparable PC laptop.
Display
It features a 15.3-inch expansive Liquid Retina display with up to 500 nits of brightness. It offers 2x higher resolution and 25% higher brightness than a comparable PC laptop.

The new sound system features a three-mic array for cleaner and louder audio and a six-speaker sound system with two tweeters and two sets of force-canceling woofers.
