Cupertino tech giant’s fourth retail store in Abu Dhabi, UAE, the “Apple Al Maryah Island” will open on Friday, February 25, 2022. Situated in the heart of the emirate’s prestigious financial district, above the steps of cascading water, the new store is an architectural marvel which directly connects the Galleria Al Maryah Island to the water’s edge.
Earlier this month, the tech giant inaugurated “Apple Yas Mall” in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Situated in its 2015 original location, the new store reimagines and redesigned the store.

Overlooking the captivating shoreline of Al Maryah Island, the new Apple Al Maryah Island is constructed with new design elements complementing its natural surroundings like the ramps paved with black granite stone cutting “through water and continue seamlessly inside the store, blurring the barrier between inside and out,” and a golden carbon-fiber roof.
Once inside, guests are greeted with panoramic views of Abu Dhabi’s extraordinary skyline. When looking up, customers will also find a unique ceiling made of stretched gold fabric. The glass walls bring in the natural light, with ficus trees adding greenery to the interior. An innovative radiant floor system combined with displacement ventilation helps cool the building.
In addition to offering the latest Apple products, the Apple Al Maryah Island will open with three unique Today at Apple sessions hosted in the Forum and an exclusive curated Apple Music Playlist:

- Music Walk: Liquid Soundscapes with GarageBand
- Art Walk: Drawing Creativity Within Session Guide
The team of 80 members, representing 28 nationalities and speaking over 30 languages collectively, will be able to assist and guide the diverse pool of visitors from Abu Dhabi in exploring new products, learning more about Apple services, and more.
