Apple TV+ has hit another milestone with 52 Emmy Awards nominations in various categories. And for the second year in a row, Ted Lasso has dominated the Emmys with 20 nominations, along with Severance season 1 getting 14 nominations for the first time.
Apple TV+ thirteen original titles including series, documentaries, reality-show, animations and more have been nominated for 2022 Emmy Awards: Ted Lasso, Severance, Schmigadoon, The Morning Show, The Problem with Jon Stewart, Foundation, Pachinko, See, Lisey’s Story, Central Park, They Call Me Magic, Carpool Karaoke: The Series, and “Everyone but Jon Hamm” ad.

In just three years and a limited library of original titles, Apple TV+ has won several awards including an Oscar for best movie “CODA”. Recently, the video streamer also bagged 53 nominations for Holly Critics Association Awards to be held on on August 14, 2022 at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
Apple’s head of Worldwide Video, Zack Van Amburg said that the 2022 Emmy nominations valids the video streamers diverse and strong original stories.
