Apple Card holders are receiving double 6% daily cashback for purchases made from Apple stores. The company offers 3% daily cashback normally to Apple Card holders for all purchases. Happy and surprised users shared the news of the unannounced promotion on social media.
Recently, the company gave 3% daily cashback to Apple Card users who were unable to order a new iPhone 13 model using the credit card on the day it was available for pre-order. A bug only blocked Apple Card transactions to successfully pay for the smartphone but accepted other cards. Therefore, the company later sent 3% cashback to affected users would have earned if their transactions had been successful.

As the promotion comes as surprise, therefore not much can be said about which products does it apply to or for how long will it be available. Just an intelligent guess, 6% cashback might be offered to encourage users to start ordering gifts for the holiday season.
As most of Apple’s products, new and old, have delayed delivery dates, Bloomberg predicts that the company’s biggest sales quarter might be adversely affected by the supply shortages. The ongoing components shortage is estimated to last till mid-2022.
Apple Card gained a new Advanced Fraud Protection feature in iOS 15 that will keep card holders information more secure by changing the 3-digit security code, periodically.
