The rare four-day promotion comes as China’s economy begins to recover following COVID-19 lockdowns that hurt the sales of a ton of smartphone brands including local manufacturers Vivo, Oppo, and Xiaomi. Interestingly, mobile shipments in the region saw a 9.2% uptick in June and the shipments were largely dominated by Apple and Samsung Electronics.
Barring any delays, Apple’s flagship iPhone 14 lineup is on track for a September release.
