Because of the high demand of iPad, Apple had delayed its international launch for about a month and when it was launched its sales was more than anybody had expected. Initially, Apple was struggling to meet the demand and that’s why customers had to wait for about 7 to 10 working days for their orders to ship. A few weeks ago, iPad shipping times improved to 3 to 5 working days. And now, just like most Apple products, the shipping time of iPad is also within 24 hours starting this weekend.
This shows that Apple has finally managed to speed up the production of iPad and managed to catch up with the demand. Apple has sold more than 3.2 million iPad till now.
iPad is currently available in about only twenty countries and it is to be launched in many more countries in the coming months. It is also expected that Apple will launch their smaller iPad in the last part of this year according to various rumors.
