New Rose color to replace Blue Titanium in upcoming iPhone 16 Pro

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are set to introduce a new “Rose” color, marking a shift from the previously popular “Rose Gold” first seen in the iPhone 6S. This information comes from a Chinese Weibo-based leaker, OvO Baby Sauce OvO, who has been gaining traction with accurate supply chain leaks.

This new Rose color is distinct from the Rose Gold, suggesting a more modern and possibly more subtle hue than its predecessor.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also weighed in, stating that the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will be available in black, white or silver, gray or “Natural Titanium,” and the new rose. Kuo’s predictions align with earlier rumors indicating that the Blue Titanium color from the iPhone 15 Pro will be replaced by this new rose color.

In addition to the color updates, Kuo mentioned that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will retain the color options of black, green, pink, blue, and white, with white replacing yellow from the iPhone 15 series.

The iPhone 16 Pro series is also expected to feature other significant updates. According to various reports, these models will include faster charging capabilities and substantial camera upgrades. The new rose titanium color will be part of a broader design update that continues the use of titanium, first introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro.

Furthermore, the iPhone 16 Pro is rumored to have a larger and brighter display, increasing from 6.1 inches to 6.27 inches, with peak brightness expected to reach 1,200 nits. This upgrade represents a 20% increase in brightness, ensuring better visibility in various lighting conditions. The camera system is also anticipated to receive enhancements, with the inclusion of a 5X telephoto sensor from the iPhone 15 Pro Max, suggesting that photography and videography on the iPhone 16 Pro will be more advanced than ever.

Design-wise, the iPhone 16 lineup is expected to retain the core design language of the iPhone 15 series but with slight modifications. This includes a new capture button to enhance the camera experience.

Another rumor hints at possible modifications to the Face ID design, potentially impacting Apple’s supply chain partners due to these changes. There is speculation about Apple working on under-screen Face ID technology, though this feature is unlikely to be ready before next year.
