“We can’t wait to see where your imagination takes you.”
Last month, Apple teased the opening of this unique store on the apple.com Singapore webpage and the reveal is exactly what the tag line encapsulated. Inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, the new Apple Marina Bay Sands store is an architectural marvel with a massive dome, made of 114 pieces of glass supported by10 narrow vertical mullions is designed to capture sunlight and shaped to counter sun angles. The glass and wooden interior are lined with trees to only reduce the effect of sun rays during the day but also for greenery.
Like the redesigned Apple stores in Thailand and China, this store too has modern features like The Forum with a video wall for Today at Apple events. These sessions are which are held for Singapore artists, creators, and musicians to showcase their work and for entrepreneurs and developers to receive the assistance and training required for their ventures.
Customers can view, test, and explore Apple products and accessories. They will be assisted by a 148 members team that can collectively speak over 23 languages. As COVID-19 pandemic health measures, visitors and employees will be strictly asked to wear a mask, go through temperature checks, and maintain social distancing. Apple Marina Bay Sands will open doors for the customers for the first time on September 10, at 10 a.m. SGT. Visitors are required to schedule an appointment for the visit on apple.com, walk-ins will not be permitted due to health concerns.
