Apple Music has debuted on LG smart TV sets. The addition of another Apple service comes after the announcement of three month-free Apple TV+ on purchase of select LG Smart TVs until February 13, 2022. Recently, the music streaming service was launched on PlayStation 5 which gives access to 90 million songs, playlists, and videos in 4K quality.
LG Smart TV owners can now enjoy the vast library of Apple Music
As per the description on LG Smart TV App Store, Apple Music subscribers will get to enjoy the complete music library on the service with real-time lyrics to sing along for karaoke nights with family and friends. However, it appears the LG Smart TV sets do not support Spatial audio and HiFi lossless audio on the music service. Here are all the supported features on LG Smart TV sets:
- Stream millions of songs, all ad‑free.
- Sing along with time‑synced lyrics.
- Create unlimited playlists or get personalized mixes and top picks based on the music you love.
- Tune in to live radio stations hosted by artists on Apple Music 1, Hits and Country.
- Watch top music videos nonstop on Apple Music TV and check out curated music video playlists.
At the October event, the Cupertino tech giant announced a new Voice Plan powered by Siri for an economical monthly fee of $4.99. Owners of LG smart TVs can download the Apple Music app from the LG smart TV App Store for free and purchase its monthly subscription for $9.99.
