Apple has announced that the financial results for the first quarter of 2022 will be published on January 27 which will be followed by an earnings conference of the same day.
The upcoming statement will be released at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time and 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. And the subsequent conference held by CEO Tim Cook and CFO Luca Maestri will commence at 2:00 p.m. Pacific time and 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.
The Q1, 2022 report will cover the company’s most anticipated Holiday season, from October 1, 2021, till December 26, 2021. The tech giant achieved a hardware super cycle in 2021 with the launch of the new iPhone, MacBook Pro, Apple Watch, and other models.

Ahead of the Holiday season, the tech company introduced the new iPhone 13 series, Apple Watch Series 7, AirPods 3rd generation, iPad 9th generation, iPad mini 6th generation, more color options of HomePod mini, and the 2021 MacBook Pro models with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.
The fact that Apple was able to launch new products when the tech industry is facing a chip crisis, makes it more the company’s performance more impressive. In addition, the tech giant managed to maintain a steady supply and demand chain at a time when its competitors were struggling.
Recently, it become the first company in 2022 to achieve a $3 trillion market value in spite of expecting a $6 billion loss due to supply constraints. At the Q4, 2021 earnings call Mr. Cook said that the company expects more losses in the next quarter than the previous one.
“It will affect — it is affecting, I should say, pretty much most of our products currently. But from a demand point of view, demand is very robust. And so part of this is the demand also is very strong. But we believe that by the time we finished the quarter that the constraints will be larger than the $6 billion that we experienced in Q4.”
Having said that, Wedbush analysts reported that the company sold over 40 million iPhone 13 models in the 2021 Holiday season and its Service business is worth $1.5 trillion. So, we can expect another record quarter on Jan 27.
