Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reports that the latest 24-inch M1 iMac will be available in all color options at physical Apple Stores, starting from September 14. Apple’s iPhone 13 unveiling event ‘California streaming’ is scheduled for September 14 at 10:00 a.m. PT. The company is expected to launch new 14-inch and 16-inch M1X MacBook Pro models at the event as well. The availability of the M1 iMac at its retail stores indicates that Apple has many new changes planned for the day.
Starting September 14, all colors of M1 iMac models will be available at Apple’s retail stores
From next week, customers will be able to see the M1 iMac in all color options, physically, before buying the computer. In addition, Apple’s online stores have started to sell refurbished iMacs as well in the U.S and UK.
The redesigned M1 iMac was launched in April this year. In addition to new features like M1 Apple Silicon, 4.5K Retina display improved 1080p FaceTime camera, studio-quality mics, and a six-speaker camera system, and others, Apple reintroduced colors of the OG iMacs. The all-in-one is available in seven vibrant colors: Blue, Green, Pink, Silver, Yellow, Orange, and Purple. Currently, Yellow, Orange, and Purple color options are only available at Apple’s online stores.
@Mark Gurman has also confirmed that Apple Watch Series 7 will also be announced at the September 14 event. Reports of production delay of the new smartwatch series created uncertainty regarding its launch this month. Earlier today, tech analyst Ming-Chi kuo reported that Apple Watch Series 7 is on the list of products unveiling next week on Tuesday. But the series will be available by the end of September.
Not iPhone and Apple Watch only, some minor Mac news to look out for on September 14: Apple will start selling all 24-inch M1 iMac colors in retail stores. Yellow, orange, and purple were previously available only online.
