The Cupertino tech company has updated its Apple Support app for iOS and iPadOS with a refreshed look, a new reservation system, and performance improvements.
Apple Support app allows users to get personalized support for their Apple products and services in one place. They can reset Apple ID passwords, manage subscriptions, and AppleCare+ plans, find stores in their vicinity, and more through the app. To resolve issues, the Apple Support app puts users in direct contact with real experts to troubleshoot an issue or get guided step-by-step, solutions.
Users can also easily book an appointment or reservation to visit the Genius Bar or an Apple Authorized Service Provider and add the pass in the Wallet app for quick check-in. So, for users in Apple’s ecosystem, the Apple Support app is a very useful tool.
New Apple Support app upgrade reservation system with new organization features
Updated to version 4.8, the new Apple Support app offers a more accessible and easy-to-use UI for users to get the help they need for their products. More importantly, the app has added new organization filters in the reservation system for the users to enhance their booking experience.
The release notes read:
- It’s easier than ever to access support tools and get help with all of your Apple products.
- Booking a reservation has a fresh look and feel, including enhanced sorting and filtering capabilities.

Download the Apple Support app from the App Store. It is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and requires iOS 15.0 or later and iPadOS 15.0 or later.
Recently, the tech giant also seeded the first developer beta of iOS 16.2 which includes support for Freeform, an option for Live Activities to show more frequent updates, and a new report on unintentionally triggered Emergency SOS calls. iPadOS 16.2 beta 1 includes support for Freeform and external display for Stage Manager.
