In December 2022, the Children’s & Family Emmys by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will be held at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles. Apple TV+ Kids and Family titles bagged 17 nominations for the Children’s & Family Emmys as per the list obtained by Deadline.
In 2021, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the new stand-alone awards after introducing changes in how children’s categories were presented and it marks the first expansion of the list of Emmy Awards show since the launch of Sports and News & Documentary Emmys in 1979.
Apple TV+’s “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock” dominates Children’s & Family Emmys nominations
Winners of the Children’s and Family Emmys will be announced in two events held on December 10 and 11. Here are 17 nominations earned by Apple TV+ original Kids and Family content:

- Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock – Outstanding Children’s or Family Viewing Series

As per the report, Children’s & Family content is one of the fastest-growing genres that NATAS awards. NATAS President and CEO Adam Sharp said:

Apple TV+ price increase the subscription fee from $4.99 to $6.99 per month, and the annual fee from $49.99 to $69 per year. The tech giant also increased the subscription fees for Apple Music and Apple One bundles.
