Apple TV+ has landed a new original feature documentary on the life and career of Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time Formula One world champion.
Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton is a 37-years old British Formula One racing driver who started his career with driving for McLaren from 2007 till 2012 and currently competes in Formula One for Mercedes. Over the years, he has had an incredible career with seven World Drivers’ Championship titles and holds the record for most wins, pole positions, podium finishes and others.
And now Apple TV+ will celebrate the extraordinary life and career of Lewis Hamilton in a new documentary that will be directed by Matt Kay and produced by Hamilton, Box to Box Films, Penni Thow, and One Community. Richard Plepler through his Eden Productions and Scott Budnick will executive produce the new documentary.

With exclusive and complete access to Hamilton, his team, and an all-star cast of guest interviews, the new documentary will give the audience a never-seen insight into Hamilton’s world who broke records and barriers to becoming one of the greatest Formula One drivers in the world.
Hamilton has blazed an uncharted trail professionally, socially and culturally, and transformed the sport on a global scale. Coming from a working-class family, Lewis succeeded in a sport where the odds were stacked against him but where his talent shone through, allowing him to dominate the sport for over a decade.
Hamilton is currently the only Black driver to race in the Formula One series. He embraced what made him different and his rise to the top of his career has made him fiercely committed to using his platform to influence positive change for future generations. – Apple
On April 22, Apple TV+ will premiere a new “The Call Me Magic” docuseries on the life and career of two-time NBA Hall of Famer and cultural icon Earvin “Magic” Johnson.
