‘For All Mankind’ was among the launch titles for Apple TV+. The series takes a closer look at an alternate course in history where the United States was not the first to land on the moon and examines the consequences of not being first to the moon.

“We need to remind them of Apollo 11 — ‘we came in peace for all mankind.’ We need to live up to that,” Apollo astronaut Ed Baldwin says in the trailer, which seems to be a sign of conflict between the Soviets and Americans on the moon.
