Apple TV+ original drama series have earned fresh nominations at the upcoming Golden Globe Awards. Its science fiction thriller “Severance” by Ben Stiller and true crime series “Black Bird” have earned six Golden Globe nominations for 2023.
The upcoming 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be held on January 10, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET or 5 p.m. PT.

- Best Television Series, Drama – Severance.
- Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television.
- Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Drama — Adam Scott.
- Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made for Television — Taron Egerton.
- Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role. In a Musical-Comedy or Drama Television Series — John Turturro.
- Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television — Paul Walter Hauser.
Recently, Severance earned won Outstanding Main Title Design as well as Outstanding Music Composition for a Series. The win for outstanding music composition can be credited to Theodore Shaprio’s, “The We Are” at Creative Arts Emmys Awards. Won 5 Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards.
Created by Dennis Lehane, season 1 of Black Bird debuted on Apple TV+ on July 8, 2022. It is a suspenseful psychological thriller adaptation of the true-crime memoir “In with the Devil: A Fallen Hero, a Serial Killer, and a Dangerous Bargain for Redemption” by James Keene and Hillel Levin.
