Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for ‘Harriet the Spy’ kids, the first animated adaptation of the children’s novel. The first five episodes of the the10-episodes kids series will premiere on November 5, 2021, and the other five episodes will air in spring 2022.
The upcoming adventure series is produced by The Jim Henson Company and Will McRobb, wrote and executive produced it. McRobb previously executive produced “The Adventures of Pete & Pete” with Sidney Clifton and produced the “Black Panther” animated series, and “Me, Eloise”.

With Beanie Feldstein’s and Jane Lynch’s voice cast, the first animated adaptation of “Harriet the Spy” tells the story of an inquisitive 11-year old Harriet M. Welsch who wants to be a writer and for that, she must know everything by spying on everyone. The minute and a half trailer of the new series, uploaded on the Apple TV+ YouTUbe channel, gives a sneak peek into the life of young Harriet who will stop at nothing until she finds answers with the help of her two friends, of course.
Set in 1960s New York when the original book was published, “Harriet the Spy” follows the outspoken and perpetually curious 11-year-old Harriet M. Welsch. More than anything, Harriet wants to be a writer, and in order to be a good writer, she’ll need to know everything. And to know everything means she’ll need to spy … on everyone!
Joining Feldstein and Lynch, the series features Lacey Chabert as Marion Hawthorne, the ringleader of a group of popular girls at Harriet’s school, and additional voice cast Kimberly Brooks, Crispin Freeman, Grey Griffin, Bumper Robinson and Charlie Schlatter. – Apple
