Apple TV+ orders “Constellation”, a new conspiracy-based psychological thriller drama series

Apple TV+ has given green light to a new conspiracy-based psychological thriller drama series “Constellation”.The upcoming series is created and written by Peter Harness and directed by Emmy Award winner Michelle MacLaren from Turbine Studios and Haut et Court TV. MacLaren is also the director of Apple TV+ popular “The Morning Show” and its new true-crime series “Shining Girls”.

“Constellation” is co-produced by Turbine Studios and Haut et Court TV, and executive produced by MacLaren, Harness, Rebecca Hobbs, David Tanner, Tracey Scoffield, Caroline Benjo, Simon Arnal, Carole Scotta, and Justin Thomson.

Apple TV+ new sci-fi thriller series “Constellation” will star Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks

The new series will star Noomi Rapace from “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” and “You Won’t Be Alone” and Emmy Award nominee Jonathan Banks from “Breaking Bad”, “Better Call Saul”, and “Mudbound”.  The sci-fi psychological thriller “Constellation” will tell the story of a woman, Jo (played by Rapace) who finds her whole world turned upside down upon returning to Earth after an unsuccessful space travel mission. As she fights to collect the missing pieces of her life, she also uncovers the truth behind space travel.

“Constellation” will star Rapace as Jo, a woman who returns to Earth after a disaster in space — only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing. The action-packed space adventure is an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology, one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover all that she has lost.
