Apple TV+ original shows have earned 18 Emmy nominations this year. The company announced the nominations by updating the apple.com homepage to display the titles up for an award in various categories. The 72 Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on September 20 and hosted by renowned comedy and anchor, Jimmy Kimmel.
The award show celebrates excellence in national primetime television. These nominations place another feather in Apple’s video streaming service’s hat of pride. Just 9 months after launching, the service has already earned a reputation in the market with a diverse collection of original content. Recently, Peanuts in Space and Ghostwriters won two Emmy awards in the Kids category.

The Morning Show
Starring Jennifer Aniston, Resse Witherspoon, and Steve Carell, this drama series showcasing the conflicts and struggles of the morning show hosts. The show has won 8 nominations;

Defending Jacob

The Cupertino company has been focusing on improving its services, in particular, video streaming service has been regularly updated with new original content to make a name for its self in this competitive market, against Netflix and Amazon Prime.
