Sharper is written by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka and directed by Benjamin Caron. Featuring Academy Award winner Julianne Moore, the new movie is a mystery thriller that uncovers the enigmatic life of New York City.

“Sharper” unfolds within the secrets of New York City, from the penthouses of Fifth Avenue to the shadowy corners of Queens. Motivations are suspect and expectations are turned upside down when nothing is as it seems.

Its star-studded ensemble cast also includes Sebastian Stan, Justice Smith, John Lithgow, and newcomer Briana Middleton. It is executive produced by Julia Hammer and Amy Herman.

Sharper is hailed from Apple TV+ Studio’s partnership with A24 under its multi-year first look agreement signed in 2018. Both studios have partnered for “The Tragedy of Macbeth“, written and director Joel Coen and stars Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand, and for the movie “Causeway” directed by Lila Neugebauer and featuring Jennifer Lawrance.

The streamer is gradually expanding its original library. Recently, the company announced a price increase in the service’s subscription fee presumably because of the availability of more content.
