Apple TV+ drops new trailer for “Severance” ahead of its premiere on Feb 18

Apple TV+ today released an extended trailer for its upcoming workplace thriller series “Severance,” starring Adam Scott ahead of its premiere on February 18. The show is about employees in a company who undergo a severance procedure that surgically separates their memories between their work and personal lives.

With a star-studded cast featuring Adam Scott, Britt Lower, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette, the series is expected to explore what happens when employees start embracing a one-side work-life balance that separates their in and out-of-work memories. The procedure is called into question as Mark (played by Adam Scott) “finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work … and of himself.”

Following an initial teaser trailer, Apple TV+ has dropped an extended trailer that sets out the premise of the series and introduces the characters.

The series is directed by Ben Stiller and written and executive produced by Dan Erickson, who also serves as co-showrunner. Mark Friedman will also serve as co-showrunner along with being the executive producer.

Severance will be available on Apple TV+ from February 18 with the first two episodes with the rest of the seven episodes following a weekly release schedule. To watch the show, viewers will need a subscription to Apple’s streaming service. For $4.99 per month, Apple TV+ is available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, Apple TV via the Apple TV app.
