“Sharper,” to be dropped in theaters on Feb. 10, Apple TV+ release slated for Feb. 17

Starring Julianne Moore and hailing from Apple Original Films and A24, Sharper showcases life in New York. Covering the “penthouses of Fifth Avenue to the shadowy corners of Queens,” Apple promises a gripping mystery thriller in which “motivations are suspect and expectations are turned upside down when nothing is as it seems.

The trailer follows characters as they “compete for riches and power in a high stakes game of ambition, greed, lust, and jealousy,” with the synopsis adding that the movie “will keep audiences guessing until the final moment.” It continues, “Motivations are suspect, and expectations are turned upside down, as a con artist takes on Manhattan billionaires.”

Sharper’s star-studded cast also includes Sebastian Stan, Justice Smith, John Lithgow, and newcomer Briana Middleton. The film is written by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka and directed by Benjamin Caron. It is executive produced by Julia Hammer and Amy Herman.

To watch Sharper when it becomes available on Apple TV+, you will need a subscription to the service. For $6.99 per month with a seven-day free trial, Apple’s streaming service is available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and Apple TV via the Apple TV app.
