Some hit Apple TV+ Original shows including SEE, The Morning Show, and more are going to be released on Blu-Ray and DVD so people will be able to watch them without having to subscribe to the service. As of right now, the physical Blu-Ray and DVD release of some Apple TV+ shows is going to be exclusive to the United States.
Physical Blu-Ray and DVD copies of some Apple TV+ Originals to be released this year
Back in August, it was confirmed that Apple’s critically acclaimed series, For All Mankind, would become available on Blu-Ray. Now, more hit shows from the streaming service have been added to the list: SEE, Truth be Told, and The Morning Show.
As shared by @sigjudge on Twitter, the release will begin with the first season of SEE on October 31, 2022. Other releases will follow until February 6, 2023, with the final one with the final season of Truth be Told. Check out the full release schedule below:
- SEE (Season 1) – October 31, 2021
- SEE (Season 2) – November 14, 2021
- For All Mankind (Season 1) – November 28, 2022
- Truth Be Told (Season 1), The Morning Show (Season 1) – December 5, 2022
- For All Mankind (Season 2) – December 26, 2022
- The Morning Show (Season 2) – January 23, 2023
- Truth Be Told (Season 2) -February 6, 2023
The physical copies of these shows will not be distributed by Apple itself. Instead, they have been licensed to Dazzler Media. In addition to this, some Blu-Ray discs and DVDs are regionally locked. This depends on the manufacturer. So, we do not know if these discs will play in the United States since the release is currently exclusive to the UK.
If you are not in the UK or if you do not want to wait for the physical release of these shows to watch them, you can check them out on Apple TV+. For $4.99 per month with a seven-day free trial, Apple’s streaming service is available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and Apple TV via the Apple TV app.
