Apple TV+ teases “The Sky is Everywhere” coming out on Feb 11, Valentine’s Day weekend

Apple TV+ has released the trailer of the new romantic-drama movie “The Sky is Everywhere” premiering on February 11, 2022, this Valentine’s Day weekend. Directed by Josephine Decker and produced by A24, the upcoming movie is an adaptation of the novel by the same name which tells the heart-touching story of a teen girl experiencing love and grief. 

Apple TV+ signed a multi-year agreement with A24, possibly the first-look agreement and in 2021 the studio was reportedly in talks with A24 for acquisition for $3 billion.

With lessons learned from love and grief, the new movie “The Sky is Everywhere” is the self-discovery journey of a young girl who losses a beloved elder sister, finds love and a person to comfort her all at once. When Joe Fontaine, the charismatic new guy at school, enters Lennie’s life, she’s drawn to him. But Lennie’s complicated relationship with her sister’s devastated boyfriend, Toby, starts to affect Lennie and Joe’s budding love. Through her vivid imagination and honest, conflicted heart, Lennie navigates first love and first loss to create a song of her own.

Releasing on Valentine’s Day weekend in theaters and Apple TV+, The Sky is Everywhere will join the growing originals catalog of Apple TV+ like Swan Song,  CODA, Finch, Palmer, and Cherry. And upcoming movies like “Emancipation,” from director Antoine Fuqua, and starring and produced by Academy Award nominee Will Smith, Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, Joel Coen’s “The Tragedy of Macbeth,” starring Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand, Kitbag, the Napoleon Bonaparte epic in partnership with Scott Free and directed by Ridley Scott and star Joaquin Phoenix.
