Apple TV+ trailer for “Slow Horses” is a window into the fast-changing world of British spies
The trailer gives a glimpse of the unapologetic leader, Jackson Lamb, of British spies in the Slough House, who has very little motivation to give to his “Slow Horses” who have jeopardized their careers by making unforgivable mistakes. But more importantly, Lamb stands up for his “loser” agents and does not throw them under the bus for the director of the MI5 who is trying to cover up her tracks.
“Slow Horses” is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known un-affectionately as Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes as they frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world. – Apple TV+
