Apple TV+ has announced that season 2 of Tehran will premiere on May 6, 2022, with the first two episodes, and weekly new installments each Friday through June 17, 2022.
Tehran is created by Moshe Zonder, Dana Eden, and Maor Kohn, along with Syrkin and Shenhar are also co-creators. The series is written by Omri Shenhar and Zonder and directed by Daniel Syrkin. The executive producers are Alon Aranya for Paper Plane Productions, Eden and Shula Spiegel for Donna and Shula Productions, Peter Emerson for Cineflix Studios, and Zonder, Shenhar, Syrkin, and Eldad Koblenz for Kan 11 and Julien Leroux for Paper Entertainment.
The thrilling story of Mossad agent continues in season 2 of Tehran on Apple TV+
The new season of the international Emmy Award-winning global espionage thriller series “Tehran” will star Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Glenn Close and Niv Sultan who makes a comeback as Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan, along with Shaun Toub and Shervin Alenabi.
And the story of a Mossad agent on an undercover dangerous mission continues with the new eight-episodes long season 2. Season 1 of Tehran is available on Apple TV+, across all Apple devices, for $4.99 per month.
Apple TV+ is gradually expanding its library with foreign content. In addition to Tehran, the video streaming service released its first Korean science fiction series “Dr. Brain” in November 2021, and is going to premiere its love story “Pachinko” on March 25, 2022. TV+ Studio has also ordered its first Russian series “Container” scheduled to premiere in Spring this year.
