Apple TV+ new “Circuit Breakers” brings teenage drama creating mayhem in a futuristic world
Centered around teenagers, the “Circuit Breakers” series will tell seven unique universal stories about middle schoolers who use technology to make their wishes come true.
Each installment of “Circuit Breakers” features a sci-fi twist on kid relatable stories, with the intent of kids and families asking themselves how they would act in each unique situation.
As seen in the newly released trailer for “Circuit Breakers” on Apple TV+’s official YouTube channel, the series includes stories like a teen who uses a remote to control his parents so they have a lot of pizza, another sends a robotic clone while he practices dance, a third teen dives into memories like time travelers, and others. Although the kids hoped that the tech would make their lives easier, the outcome was not what they expected.
The gripping trailer highlights the seven distinct stories with cast including Callan Farris (“Grimcutty”), Nathaniel Buescher (“APB”), Veda Cienfuegos (“Undone”), Cole Keriazakos (“Southside”), Maz Jobrani (“Immigrant”), Cale Ferrin (“Endlings”), Quincy Kirkwood (“Y: The Last Man”), Arielle Halili (“Less Than Kosher”), Gavin MacIver-Wright (“Odd Squad: Mobile Unit”), Khiyla Aynne (“13: The Musical”), Maya McNair (“Clarice”) and more.
