Marvel Studios and ILM Immersive have joined forces to announce “What If…? – An Immersive Story,” an interactive and immersive experience coming exclusively to Apple Vision Pro. Connected to the popular Disney+ Original animated series What If…?, this hour-long experience will take fans on a journey through the Multiverse like never before, offering a narrative-driven adventure in mixed reality.
“What If…? – An Immersive Story” is directed by Dave Bushore at Marvel Studios and produced by Shereif M. Fattouh at ILM Immersive. Additional details about the release will be revealed soon.
Marvel’s What If…? series has captured the imaginations of fans by reimagining events from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in unexpected ways. With “What If…? – An Immersive Story,” fans will have the opportunity to step into the leading role of an all-new immersive narrative that transforms the space around them as they traverse across realities.
Utilizing the revolutionary spatial computing capabilities of Apple Vision Pro, this experience will offer fans a technologically advanced and engaging adventure. They will cross between augmented and virtual reality, interacting with the world around them using their eyes and hands. The hour-long story will feature breathtaking environments, placing fans in both new and iconic MCU locations, all with stunning visuals and spatial audio.
