New ad shows that Apple Watch Series 7 can not only survive hard knocks but also kids
Uploaded on Apple official YouTube channel, the new ad shows the “hard knocks” Apple Watch Series 7 can endure leaving no scratches, cracks, or loss of functionality during everyday use, and while playing sports with Jack White’s “Power of My Love” soundtrack.
The latest Series 7 can survive a gymnast falls, hits of a soccer ball, professional stove’s heat, splash of water by a passing car, cycling in a desert, wrestling match, playful car wash, and much more. But most importantly, it can also bear a kid’s dip in the toilet.
The 40% larger screen area than Series 6 and Series 3 was achieved by reducing the bezels and for durability, it is equipped with Apple’s strongest front crystal to offer crack-resistant, dust-resistant (IP6X certification), and water-resistant to make it swim-proof with WR50 water resistance.
Apple Watch Series 7’s OLED display is created with a 50% thicker front crystal that is almost twice as thick as its tallest point as Apple Watch Series 6 adding strength and durability. And it has a redesigned robust geometry with a flat base to give a studier shape more resistant to cracks.
Apple Watch Series 7 starts from $699 and comes in aluminum (five colors) and stainless steel casing options. It offers health features like ECG, Blood oxygen and sleep tracking, and more. It is compatible with the Fitness+ service to stay in good physical and mental shape with indoor or outdoor workout sessions.
