In addition to showing you the temperature of the water, the Depth app also displays time, current depth, duration underwater, as well as max depth reached. Users can also program the Action button to instantly launch the Depth app, allowing them to quickly access important information and metrics without opening the app manually.

Apple’s new rugged smartwatch comes in a bold new design and features a 49mm titanium case and flat sapphire front crystal that reveals the brightest Apple Watch display yet. The watch also offers a wide range of features built for endurance, exploration, and adventure. It is especially the perfect device for divers. As described by Apple:

Apple Watch Ultra is designed for water sports, including extreme activities like kitesurfing and wakeboarding, along with recreational scuba diving to 40 meters with the new Oceanic+ app. To support these underwater adventures, Apple Watch Ultra is certified to WR100. Apple Watch Ultra is also certified to EN 13319, which is an internationally recognized standard for dive accessories, including depth gauges that are relied upon by recreational divers around the world.

The Apple Watch Ultra costs $799. Pre-orders for the watch are now open on apple.com and it will become start shipping on September 23. Consumers will also receive 3 months of Apple Fitness+ for free with the purchase of a new Apple Watch.
