Apple promotes WWDC 2023 with a “new era” teaser, Apple Music playlist, and more
As the time for Apple WWDC 2023 is drawing closer, the company’s marketing for the event and rumor mills have picked up the pace in providing information on possible launches to increase the audience’s interest.
WWDC 2023 Keynote – over 2 hours long major event
Mark Gurman from Bloomberg claims that WWDC 2023 Keynote will be the company’s largest-ever event including three major announcements of new computers, mixed reality headset, and operating system updates for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and HomePod.
He expects the event’s duration to be over 2 hours because of all of the new hardware and software.
I’m expecting three major focus areas next week: 1) several new Macs, 2) the mixed-reality headset, 3) the new OSs. With all of the new hardware and software, I expect the keynote to be one of Apple’s longest ever and easily exceed two hours.

New era and worlds might be referring to the AR and VR experiences offered by the new mixed reality headset for gaming, streaming, communicating, and other purposes.
Apple traditionally does not use phrases like “new era” or “new worlds”. The last time CEO Tim Cook used the “new ear” terminology was at the launch of iPhone 12, the company’s first 5G-enabled iPhone series.
