Apple has launched a new social media company with the “Play, Pause, Delete” mini-game on YouTube. The game features celebrities who have to choose which of the given choices they will play (favorite), pause (there’s more to this), and delete (least favorite). The first episode of the game features the young female rapper, Coi Leray.
Leray is a 24 years old rapper who emerged on the hip hop scene in 2017. She quit her job in sales to work on her mixtape album “Every Ting CoZ” in 2018 including hit songs like Pac Girl, Huddy, and no Letting Up. She released Now or Never in 2020, Better Things, and Trendsetter in 2021.
Coi Leray shares her favorite superpower, hairstyles, and more in Apple’s new “Play, Pause, Delete” mini-game
In the six and half minutes game video on Apple’s YouTube channel, Coi Leray shares which is her favorite music by self, sidekick, birthday gifts, music-making step, hairstyle, superpower, food, the tool to write lyrics on/with, and venue.
The self-proclaimed biggest purr Coi Leray chooses her favorite venues, her go-to sidekick, and the superpower she can’t wait to delete forever.
This is Play, Pause, Delete. A game show where we ask your favorite artists to make the tough decisions about music, culture, and everything in between. The rules are simple: We’ll give them three options from a series of personalized categories and watch as they select one to play, one to pause on, and one to delete.
Based on the description of the game, it appears that Apple will be adding videos of artists in the series. This will be a good way for people to know more about their favorite singers and for artists to reach a wider audience. The company runs a similar social media campaign for Beats Studio Buds featuring musicians, athletes, and other celebrities endorsing the in-the-ear headphones.
