Apple seeded iOS 15.1 Release Candidate on October 18, after the MacBook Pro “Unleashed” event. In the code of the new update, images of the unreleased ‘Beats Fit Pro’ headphones were found. The new headphones have the same wireless in-the-ear design as the Beats Studio Buds but with a small hook. Beats by Dre is owned by Apple.
In addition, Apple launched third-generation AirPods with an all-new contour design, support for spatial audio with Dolby Atmos, a longer battery, MagSafe wireless charging support, and much more.
Apple to launch new Beats Fit Pro earbuds on Nov. 1, 2021
The new wireless earbuds will be available in white, purple, gray, and black color options. According to 9to5Mac, the Beats Fit Pro will be powered by Apple’s H1 chip, used in the new AirPods 3, for fast pairing and Siri support. It will feature Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, Adaptive EQ to adjust the sound to fit and seal the ear cushion. In addition, the headphones are equipped with Class 1 Bluetooth and a built-in accelerometer to reduce surround noise when using the microphone for video and audio calls.
Beats Fit Pro will offer up to 6 hours of battery life with Active Noise Cancellation or Transparency Mode, up to 7 hours of battery life with Adaptive EQ. With a fully charged charging case, the new earbuds will deliver up to 30 hours of battery life. Unlike the Beats Studio Buds, the charging of the new Beats Fit Pro will be similar to the Powerbeats Pro case.
Furthermore, the report claims that the new headphones are more “Android friendly” with easy and quick pairing, and custom controls via the Beats app. Allegedly, the Beats Fit Pro is scheduled to launch on November 1, 2021. Apple also announced a new Apple Music Voice Plan powered by Siri to allow users to request the voice assistant to play songs, albums, playlists, and more. As the plan is available on all Siri- enabled devices, it might be available on the new headphones as well.
