Bing Chat for iOS has been updated with new features and improvements like Home Screen widgets, text-to-speech support for more languages, and more.
Powered by the GPT-4, Bing Chat for iOS is an AI search engine that shows targeted results instead of a list of links to save time. Furthermore, it also offers a GPT-4 powered writing assistant to write emails, lyrics, poems, quizzes, and more, and translates multiple languages.
Bing Chat finally brings Home Screen widgets to iOS, after introducing them on Android
After launching widgets on Android, the new Bing Chat finally introduces widgets on iOS for users to initiate chats directly from their Home Screens. iPhone users can add the new chat widgets on the Home Screen as they do the other widgets.
- Simply, touch and hold an app, widget, or an empty area from the Home Screen.
- When the apps start to jiggle, tap on the “+” icon in the upper-left corner of the screen.
- Select the Bing Chat widget and its size.
- Tap on “Add Widget”.
- Next, tap on “Done” to complete the process.
In addition, the app now features an improved voice performance experience. The voice input button instantly indicates that it is listening when tapped. The app also offers text-to-speech support for more languages:
