New Apple Music 1 show featuring BTS to debut on Saturday, May 28
The series will debut on May 28 at 6 am PDT, ahead of the Grammy-nominated band’s first anthology album ‘Proof’ which is set to arrive on June 10th.
ABC News reports that the group members will “take listeners on their quest to stardom while sharing stories and songs that helped shaped them.”
“We wanted to use this radio show to celebrate nine years of BTS with you guys and with our ARMY all over the world,” said RM of the seven-member boy band — which also includes J-Hope, Suga, Jungkook, V, Jin and Jimin.
“Every episode is dedicated to you,” RM continues. “And we wanted to share the BTS songs that help tell our story.”
The first episodes will take a look at some songs that have inspired the band’s sound and style of music. The second one will feature the members playing their fan’s – the ARMY – favorite tracks. The last and final episode will examine how the band managed to grow past the genre of K-pop and went on to achieve global recognition with hits like “Butter” and “Dynamite”.
Dedicated fans of the band have taken to social media to express their excitement about the upcoming series and we agree that this is a show you should mark your calendars for.
