Apple has updated MacBook notebooks with M1 series Apple Silicon, and 2021 MacBook Pro models with a notch, 120Hz ProMotion display, flat edge-to-edge design, and more.
Multiple patents granted to Apple by the U.S Patent and Trademark Office and sources claim that the tech giant has more ambitious plans for MacBook notebooks like a virtual keyboard, all-glass design, and foldable model with touch screen keyboard.
Based on shared information, YouTuber ARStudiodesign has created a concept of a slim foldable MacBook that unfolds into a tablet with support for touch screen, Face ID, Apple Pencil, and more.
When the foldable screens will be something reliable, a new kind of Apple device could appear on our desks. Let’s imagine the first of his species, MacBook Folio, a foldable notebook with TouchId side-button, FaceID, a revamped AirPen and a gorgeous screen.
Concept foldable MacBook imagines features of iPad and Mac in a single device
Concept designer, De Rosa imagines a foldable MacBook in a slim and sleek design with a display and a virtual keyboard connected via a hinge, a hole + pill notch, Face ID and touch screen support, two USB-C ports. The virtual keyboard has multiple purposes like displaying keys for typing, piano keys for the Logic Pro app to make music, edit videos, and others.
More importantly, the imagined Macbook unfolds to a larger display to offer an iPad experience with support for Siri-enabled Apple Pencil to draw or take notes and Touch ID support in the side button and more.
Although a foldable Macbook is years away, the Cupertino tech giant is expected to launch a new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac powered by next-generation M2 Apple Silicon.
