This new Cydia tweak called ‘AirVideoEnabler’ by ZoneMR enables video streaming from your iPhone or iPod touch to the Apple TV using AirPlay from any 3rd party application without having to manually making changes to API scripts. All you need is a jailbroken iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on iOS 4.2.1 to enjoy AirPlay video streaming support in almost all your favorite apps, a feature that Apple should have included with video AirPlay support.
AirVideoEnabler allows streaming video on all apps which rely on MediaPlayer framework including VLC, AirVideo, and even Safari among other applications. By default, video AirPlay is restricted to YouTube.app only.

Please check out AllPlay in the Cydia store as well. It works in more apps than AirVideoEnabler. I have done testing on 4.2.1 iPhone 3GS
