Download iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1 IPSW files directly from Apple’s servers, for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. These firmware files in .ipsw format can be used to manually upgrade or restore an iOS device, or perform a clean install using iTunes or Finder.
Apple released iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1 earlier today with bug fixes and a security patch for a WebKit flaw that may have been actively exploited.
Most users will not have any need for the below firmware files as updating an iOS or iPadOS device requires users to go to Settings > General > Software Update. To fix issues with normal functionality in iOS, or clean install the operating system on an iPhone or iPad, advanced users can download the below IPSW files for their devices and use a Mac (Finder) or Windows PC (iTunes) to restore it to their device.
