You can now download iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 directly from Apple’s servers for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. These .ipsw firmware files can be used to manually upgrade or clean install on an iOS device using Finder or iTunes.
iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 were released today with bug fixes which include a fix for battery drain, braille devices and MFi hearing devices.
If you are a novice user, you can simply update your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch using Settings > General > Software update. Advanced users can use these files to perform a clean install, manually upgrade, or downgrade their device. These files are available for download directly from Apple’s servers.
