In case you didn’t know, iOS 4.1 has been released to users. It’s available for iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G and iPod Touch 2G and later. It contains enhancements and new features such as Game Center, HDR photos, bug fixes, TV show rentals, HD video upload over WiFi, FaceTime calling from favorites and much more. A comprehensive changelog is available here.
Check iTunes for an update to your iOS device, else you can use the following links to directly download the iOS 4.1 firmware for you device.
Remember, you’ll need iTunes 10 to download/install iOS 4.1.
If you’re using an unlocked or jailbroken iOS device, stay away from this upgrade.
Apple has added some nice feature in this version but if you are using a jailbroken iPhone or planning to jailbreak after updating your iPhone, I suggest you should stay away from this update as dev team has clearly stated:
There’s currently no known way to revert your baseband — if you update your baseband you’ll lose the ultrasn0w unlock, possible[sic] forever. Please stay away from this 4.1 release until a safe jailbreak procedure (which also preserves ultrasn0w) is developed and released.
So it’s better wait for some days or may be in a day we will have some good news to share :)
your iPhone 4 link is dead/broken.
