OS X 10.11.6 is now available in Mac App Store to download. The new update contains bug fixes and stability improvements. There are no new noticeable features in this release.
To download the new update, simply open up Mac App Store on your iMac or MacBook and click on the Update tab. You should see the new update available for download.
Apple’s next big release is macOS 10.12 Sierra which is more than just a rename. It brings Siri to the Mac, along with new features including auto-unlock via Apple Watch, copy-paste between Mac and iOS devices through continuity, redesigned notification center and widgets, updated Messages and Notes apps and much more.
macOS 10.12 is currently in beta. Developer beta 3 and the first public beta are available for users to test. The final version of macOS 10.12 is expected to be released this fall to all users.
Apple also released the final versions of iOS 9.3.3, tvOS 9.2.2 and watchOS 2.2 to users.
