IMDb is an online movie central where you can find information on probably all the movies ever made plus TV shows, actors and even video games. Its an excellent place to visit to read a review and look at trailors or even just when you’re looking for a new movie to watch. I’ve used Internet Movie Database (IMDb) for many years now and have always wondered how to make browsing through the site easier on my handheld devices. My wonderment is finally over.
To the delight of IMDb and iPhone users, IMDb iphone app is finally out! The app is simple, clean, efficient and super fast. I would prefer using the app over the full website any day. The main menu of the app displays three main categories: Movies, TV and People. The movies section can take you to the upcoming movies sections, the top 250 movies etc, with one tap.
The app is location aware and after allowing it to use your location you can view local showtime listings. It also has a Moviemeter and a Starmeter that displays most searched titles and stars on IMDb respectively. To make our life even more convenient, it also offers prime-time show listings for major networks and you can even read recaps of the shows you might have missed. And did I forget to mention that its free?
