Apple will host another virtual event ‘Unleashed’ on October 18, 2021, at 10 a.m. PDT from Apple Park. The event will be streamed on different social platforms for the global audience to watch for free and viewers can expect to see new M1X MacBook Pro models, AirPods 3 and other products unveiled at the event next Monday.

Based on reports and leaks, we have curated a list of the expected new products which might be announced at the upcoming event.
M1X MacBook Pro models
The next-generation 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models powered by M1X Apple Silicon are speculated to launch at the October 18 event. Sources claim that the new laptops have been delayed because of the new mini-LED display panels’ production issues. After overcoming all hurdles, the new MacBook Pro models are ready for launch.
Display analyst, Ross Young recently shared that the upcoming M1X MacBook Pro models could feature a 120Hz refresh rate with ProMotion, along with a mini-LED display. Apple launched the advanced 120Hz refresh rate with ProMotion like iPhone 13 Pro models and updated 12.9-inch iPad Pro with mini-LED tech.
Other expected features on the new MacBook Pro models are slimmer bezels and a flat design 12, higher resolutions, HDMI port, SD-card slot, MagSafe charging, 1080p webcam for better FaceTime calls, and more.
M1X Mac mini
Apple is expected to replace the high-end Intel-based Mac mini with the new M1X Mac mini. The redesigned M1X Mac mini is primarily for professional users who require more horsepower, additional ports.
Leaker with good track record, Jon Prosser claims that the new model will have a plexiglass case and will support Ethernet, HDMI out, four USB4/Thunderbolt 3 ports, two USB-A ports. Furthermore, the next-generation Apple Silicon chip will have 8 high-performance cores and 2 efficiency cores, and 64GB RAM.
AirPods 3
The redesigned third-generation AirPods are also expected to launch at the new event. For a cheaper price, the new entry-level Bluetooth wireless headphones will come in the same design as the AirPods Pro.
Ming-Chi Kuo claims that Apple will use a SiP design with an Apple-designed H1 chip in the new AirPods 3 to handle audio, Siri commands, noise-canceling, and other features.
macOS Monterey
Currently, in the beta phase, the new macOS Monterey was announced at WWDC 21 event. The new macOS update will offer innovative features like Live Text, Focus, and several improvements to Safari, FaceTime, Messages, Notes, Apple Maps, and much more. It is likely that during this week, the company will release the macOS Monterey release candidate to beta testers before launching it at the event on October 18, 2021.
