Facebook has updated the Messenger app for iPhone and iPad with support for iOS 8’s new share extensions feature. This allows users to share photos, videos or links directly to Messenger, from any app in iOS 8.
If you are a regular Facebook Messenger user, you would have found the lack of share sheet support for the app very annoying. It has taken a long time for Facebook to come across to implementing this feature, even though they were quick to support iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

The new feature is included in version 22 which is available in the App Store as an update if you already have a previous verison installed. Else, you can download it from the link below, for your iPhone or iPad.
