Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 will start on June 11

i Epic has finally announced the launch date for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 which is June 11 2020. The launch date for season 3 was originally May 1, which was later postponed to June 4 due to pandemic related delays. However, Epic promised and kept releasing new content for season 2 which kept players happy during times when everyone was restricted to confines of their homes to stay safe and healthy.

Fortnite’s official blog post on the launch date goes on to talk about the one week extension so that the company can make sure that everything is ready. Epic is also doing a special live one-time-only event called The Device on June 6 at 2PM ET, but has not shared much details on what it would be about. However, players are recommended to join 30 minutes in advance so they can reserve their spot.

In an effort to get everything ready for Chapter 2 – Season 3, we’re extending Season 2 by one week. The new launch day of Season 3 will be Thursday, June 11. Also make sure to check out a one-time-only live event called The Device, now scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at 2 PM ET (please show up 30 minutes early to help secure your spot, space is limited!).

Epic will likely release a trailer in the upcoming days to build up hype for Fornite Chapter 2 Season 3. So far, leaks have not revealed much about what season 3 would have on offer.

There is still some time to go before Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 starts. There are still skins to be unlocked for Brutus, TNTina, Meowscles, Skye, Midas, and Maya, as well as time to complete Location Domination and Storm The Agency Challenges. Make sure to complete these before season 3 kicks off on June 11.
