Upgrading from just a Skype compatible Instant Messenger for Symbian, Android and iPhone, Fring has taken a step forward. Fring is now rolling out its latest VOIP client-FringOut.
Competing with Skype, FringOut will bring VOIP as cheap as 1 cent per minute on landlines and mobile networks. It is currently available for Symbian phones and will soon be released for Android and iOS.
With Fring, users will be able to call more than 200 countries starting from 1c/min, Canada from 0.4 cents, the UK from 0.6 cents and India from 1.1 cents. Skype has been offering great quality VOIP since a long time which will be a great challenge for FringOut to provide similar or better service.
