All Google One members on iOS and Android can now enjoy Google Photos’ rich editing features like Magic Eraser, HDR effect, and more.
Google One is a cloud storage service designed to let users get more out of Google. Google One plans, starting at 100GB for $2 per month, allow users to manage their Gmail, Photos, and Drive accounts, automatically sync their photos, contacts, and messages on their phones, and more.
Here are the new photo editing features Google One members can enjoy on iOS and Android
- Magic Eraser to remove distractions in the background like people or powerlines. Use the Camouflage feature in Magic Eraser to balance the color of objects so they blend in naturally.
It’s frustrating when you think you have the perfect shot, only to discover distractions in the background. Magic Eraser detects distractions in your photos, like photobombers or power lines, so you can remove them in just a few taps.
- HDR effect to enhance brightness and contrast in photos and videos. “The result? Dramatic, balanced videos that are ready to share.”
- Exclusive collage editor designs to apply Styles to a single photo in the college editor. More Styles will be added soon.

The new features in Google Photos for Google One members on all plans are rolling out today, along with all Pixel users. Google One app is available on the App Store and Play Store. It is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and requires iOS 14.0 or later.
