Google to launch Apple Watch rival “Pixel Watch” soon

The alleged images shared by @Roland Quandt appear to be marketing material for the upcoming smartwatch which reveal that Pixel Watch to come in a 41mm case and will feature a Digital Crown and a side button like the Apple Watch. The similarities do not end there.

The new smartwatch will be available in black, gold, and silver and offer silicon watch bands in black, white, gray, and green color options. As per the translation of the writing in the material, watchbands will be sold separately.

Users will be able to add complications like steps counter, weather, calendar, and clock on the watch face and send messages, receive calls, reply to emails and play music directly from the wrist. The smartwatch will be able to track steps, calculate heart rate through the Fitbit app, and make emergency SOS services.

Pixel Watch will give up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge and will be powered by a circular charging puck like the Apple Watch, along with a similar pairing interface.

The retail price of the new watch is expected to start from $349 for the GPS+ Bluetooth model and $399 for the GPS+Cellular model. This pricing is likely to set Pixel Watch as a competitor of the Apple Watch Series 8 which starts from $399.
